Ruach means Spirit.

Holy Spirit in Hebrew is said as רוּחַ הַקֹּדֶשׁ — Ruach HaKodesh.  This is the standard Hebrew phrase used in Judaism and appears in the Hebrew Bible

Pronounced:   In English sounds it is :
ROO-akh:  ROO — like “roo” in kangaroo and “akh” — a throaty “kh” sound from the back of the throat (like the “ch” in Bach).
HaKodesh – hah-KOH-desh:
hah — soft “ha”
KOH — long “oh” sound
desh — like “d-esh”

Definition:  The phrase appears in passages like Psalm 51:11 and Isaiah 63:10–11.  In Jewish thought, Ruach HaKodesh refers to God’s divine presence, inspiration, or prophetic spirit.

The Messianic Jewish (Christian) understanding of Ruach HaKodesh  is understood as the very presence, power, and person of God active in the world — fully aligned with the Hebrew Scriptures, yet also recognized as the Spirit revealed through Yeshua (Jesus). It’s one of the most beautiful and distinctive parts of Messianic theology because it bridges Tanakh foundations with New Covenant revelation.
