The Biblical Calendar is the timekeeping system used in Scripture, built on lunar months and agricultural seasons. Each month begins with the sighting of the new moon over Israel, and the year starts in March-April which the “First Month” on God’s Calendar. On the Jewish Calendar the first month of the year is called Aviv or Nisan. This the spring season in Israel when the barley crops ripen.

 Unlike the modern Gregorian calendar, the biblical one ties time to God’s Appointed Times—the moedim— the Feasts of the Lord, including Passover, Shavuot, and Sukkot. Every month carries spiritual identity, themes, and patterns that reveal God’s work in the lives of HIS people.  It’s not just a calendar; it’s a rhythm of worship, covenant, and prophetic meaning woven into time itself.
