  • 1 Nisan(circa 3761 BCE) – Creation of the Universe according to Rabbi Joshua‘s opinion in the Talmud (Rosh Hashanah 10b-11a).
  • 1 Nisan (circa 1638 BCE) – Death of Abraham according to the Talmud
  • 1 Nisan (circa 1533 BCE) – Death of Isaac according to the Talmud

  • 14 Nisan – The 2019 Jewish dates on the Gregorian Calendar for PASSOVER are from April 19 – April 27, 2019. These dates are based on the traditional Jewish calendar which is used worldwide. The first Seder (Passover meal) will be on April 19 after nightfall, and the second Seder will be on April 20 after nightfall. Passover is celebrated by eating matzah (unleavened bread) and maror (bitter herbs).   • 14 Nisan PASSOVER begins at sunset. On this the day the Messiah was crucified. Yeshua /Jesus was crucified and dies around 3PM and His body was placed in the tomb at twilight.
  • 14 Nisan– In the world of Christianity this date is referred to as “Good Friday.” Passover is related to the Christian observances of Good Friday and Easter Sunday . The Judeo-Christian religion grew out of Judaism when the early Jews who followed Yeshua / Jesus and proclaimed him the Messiah. Today, Jews who continue to follow Yeshua are called Messianic Jews however their congregations generally include gentiles as well.
  • 15 Nisan At the stroke of midnight on the 15th of Nissan in the year 2448 from creation (1313 BCE), God visited the last of the ten plagues on the Egyptians, killing all their firstborn. While doing so, God spared the children of Israel, “passing over” their homes—hence the name of the holy day.
  • 15 Nisan The first day the 7-day festival of Unleavened Bread. It begins at sunset on the 14th.
    • The Messiah’s tomb is guarded and secured by sealing it with a stone.
  • 15 Nisan (circa 1713 BCE) – Birth of Isaac
  • 16 Nisan – With the annual Sabbath now over, the women bought and prepared spices for anointing Yeshua /Jesus’ body.
  • 17 Nisan-The weekly Sabbath. The women rested on the weekly Sabbath. Yeshua /Jesus rose around sunset, exactly three days and three nights (72 hours) after burial, to fulfill the sign of Jonah and authenticate Yeshua /Jesus’ messiahship.
  • 18 Nisan- The women brought the prepared spices early in the morning while it was still dark. When they arrived, they found that Yeshua /Jesus had already ARISEN
  • 16 Nisan(circa 1273 BCE) – The Children of Israel stop eating Manna, six days after entering the Holy Land.
  • 16 Nisan (circa 474 BCE) – Esther‘s second feast during which she accuses Haman regarding his plot to annihilate her nation. Achashverosh orders his servants to hang Haman.
  • 17 Nisan (circa 24th century BCE) – Noah’s Ark came to rest on mountains of Ararat[3]
  • 21 Nisan (circa 1456 BCE) – The sea splits, allowing Israel to escape the Egyptian army.
