God gave us HIS Calendar and HIS Appointed Times in Leviticus 23. In these scriptures you will find God’s order of the months and the special dates, holy days His people are required to set aside in each of those months for holy fellowship with HIM!
‘These are the designated times of Adonai that you are to proclaim as holy convocations and bring an offering made by fire to Adonai — a burnt offering, a grain offering, a sacrifice and drink offerings, each on its own day — 38 besides the Shabbats of Adonai, your gifts, all your vows and all your voluntary offerings that you give to Adonai. Lev. 23: 37-38
Feasts of Trumpets / Yom Teruah

Call to Action
1. You are to have a day of complete rest for remembering.
2. A holy convocation announced with blasts on the shofar horn.
3. Do not do any kind of ordinary work,
4. Bring an offering to Adonai.
Lev. 23: 23-25
Adonai said to Moshe, “Tell the people of Isra’el, ‘In the Seventh Month, the first day of the month is to be for you a day of complete rest for remembering, a holy convocation announced with blasts on the shofar. Do not do any kind of ordinary work, and bring an offering made by fire to Adonai.
The first time the shofar is mentioned is Exodus 19 at Mount Sinai, when God speaks to Moses and the people from the top of the mountain. The loud and blaring sound of God’s shofar horn, calling the people to attention for a special word from on high, made the Hebrew people tremble with fear. The blast of the shofar is described as the sound of loud roaring thunder. The people were overwhelmed and frightened!
Today, when the shofar is blown on the Feast of Trumpets, God is still speaking to us, calling us to focus our minds back to Mt. Sinai and remember the covenant He made with us there. It is a call to pay attention to HIS Covenant, His Word and His coming return to this earth!
Shofars and trumpets are mentioned in scripture almost 80 times in different contexts. The horns are used to:
Call the tribes to the Tabernacle
Break camp, get ready to move
Alert and warning
An announcement
Inaugurating a new king
Special events
Battle cry
Victory shout
Sound of rejoicing
Day of Atonement / Yom Kippur

Tishri 10,
September 24-25 , 2023 sundown to sundown
The Day of Atonement, or Yom Kippur, is the most holy and solemn day of the Biblical calendar. No other day, and no other ancient ritual comes closer to the full meaning and purpose of the atonement of Yeshua/Jesus. This was the only day when the high priest reconciled Israel with God and symbolically brought the people back into the presence of the Lord. This video is courtesy of “Messages of Christ” at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4UYT-0AmlnA

ADONAI said to Moshe, “The tenth day of this Seventh Month is Yom-Kippur; (Day of Atonement) you are to have a holy convocation, you are to deny yourselves, and you are to bring an offering made by fire to ADONAI. You are not to do any kind of work on that day, because it is Yom-Kippur, to make atonement for you ADONAI your God. Anyone who does not deny himself on that day is to be cut off from his people; and anyone who does any kind of work on that day, I will destroy from among his people. You are not to do any kind of work; it is a permanent regulation through all your generations, no matter where you live. It will be for you a Shabbat of complete rest, and you are to deny yourselves; you are to rest on your Shabbat from evening the ninth day of the month until the following evening.”
