An Ancient Symbol for Today's Calling

From the beginning, GodTime.blog has existed to help believers return to the rhythm of God’s Appointed Times — to rediscover identity, purpose, and spiritual clarity through the Biblical Calendar. Today, that mission continues with a renewed visual identity: a new logo for GodTime.blog (GTB) shaped by scripture, covenant, and the unfolding story of redemption.

This new GTB emblem is not a departure. It is a refinement — a clearer expression of who we are and what we proclaim. Every line, every symbol, every light is rooted in the ancient paths that lead us to Messiah.

As Psalm 90:12 teaches, “Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.”  GodTime.blog exists to help us do exactly that.

One of the key perspectives on Psalm 90:12: is the “Heart of Wisdom”  This refers to gaining a heart that understands life from God’s perspective—appreciating, not just counting time – days, months, years. It suggests that true wisdom is recognizing our reliance on God and His rhythm of time.

Our new logo is a stylized version of the original “Messianic Seal.” It  isn’t new — it’s ancient. Rediscovered after nearly 2,000 years, this symbol unites the menorah, the Star of David, and the fish into one testimony of early Jewish believers in Yeshua. Found on artifacts near the Upper Room, it reveals a faith that never separated Messiah from Israel’s story, but wove them together in one beautiful, unified confession.

MENORAH

The menorah represents God as the Source of Light, and Israel as the bearer of that Light.
*God → the Light
*Israel → the lampstand that carries it
*Messiah → the fullness of that Light revealed.
This is why the menorah is such a powerful symbol for GodTime.blog. It speaks to Identity, Calling, Revelation, Covenant and the Rhythm of God’s Appointed Times.

STAR of DAVID

Represents  Identity and Belonging
The Star of David (Magen David) has long symbolized the people of Israel. In a Messianic context, it also points to:
*The lineage of David
*The promised Son who would reign forever
*The unity of God’s people in Messiah
It anchors the logo in the story of covenant identity.

 CROSS

Represents  Redemption and Fulfillment
Placed at the center of the Star, the cross proclaims:
*Yeshua as the fulfillment of the promises
*The unity of Torah and Gospel
*The reconciliation of heaven and earth
It is the heart of the symbol because He is the heart of the story.

The FISH with the CLOCK

These represent  Time, Discipleship, and Calling
The ancient fish symbol was a sign of early believers. By integrating a clock within it, the logo declares:
• Time belongs to God
• Discipleship is lived in the rhythm of God’s Time
• Every moment is sacred
• The Biblical Calendar is not merely history — it is identity with the FATHER. This is the visual signature of GodTime.blog.

WHY THIS CHANGE — Devotional Reflection

Seasons change, and so do the vessels God uses — but His truth remains. Just as Israel carried the Ark through the wilderness, and just as the early believers carried the Gospel across nations, we too carry the message of spiritual identity into a new season. This new logo is a reminder that:
God orders time
God reveals identity
God calls His people to walk in His light.
It is a symbol of continuity, not disruption — a signpost pointing to the same ancient truth with renewed clarity.

Together, these symbols form a single message: Identity is found when we align our lives with God’s Time.
