The Passover Season is packed with prophetic acts of God. Perhaps the most overlooked is the “Counting of the Omer” which begins on the second day of Passover Season. (Leviticus 23:15-16; and Deuteronomy 16:9-16) This is the beginning of the 49-day countdown to the holy day of Shavuot and Pentecost – the 50th Day which celebrates two momentous occasions. First Shavuot, when God gave the Ten Commandments, HIS Word to Moses on Mount Sinai and second, Pentecost when God sent the Holy Spirit to the disciples in the Upper Room in Jerusalem. Both events occurred on the 50th Day after Passover and now know by two different names Shavuot and Pentecost.

We find the miracles of the Risen Messiah are chronicled in the first 40 of the 49 days in the Counting of the Omer. From Yeshua’s Resurrection, the pinnacle of our living faith to  Pentecost, the 50th Day,  when the Holy Spirit falls upon the disciples in the Upper Room in Jerusalem.

Miracle #1 Yeshua rises from the grave
Around Nisan 17th. It is the Feast of First Fruits but is also during the very beginning of the Counting of the Omer.

Miracle # 2 Yeshua appeared to His followers for 40 days, during the Counting of the Omer. “Acts 1:3—After his death, he showed himself to them and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. During a period of 40 days, they saw him, and he spoke with them about the Kingdom of God.

Miracle #3 Yeshua tells Disciples to wait for Holy Spirit. Acts 1:4 At one of these gatherings, he instructed His disciples not to leave Jerusalem but to wait for “what the Father promised, which you heard about from me. 5 For Yochanan used to immerse people in water; but in a few days, you will be immersed in the Ruach HaKodesh!”

Miracle #4 –– Anointing of Power to Witness.
Acts 1:8 (CJB) But you will receive power when the Ruach HaKodesh comes upon you; you will be my witnesses both in Yerushalayim and in all Y’hudah and Shomron, indeed to the ends of the earth!”

Miracle#5—Yeshua announced the Great Commission    Matthew 28:18-20 (CJB) Yeshua came and talked with them. He said, All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore, go and make people from all nations into talmidim, immersing them into the reality of the Father, the Son and the Ruach HaKodesh, 20 and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember! I will be with you always, yes, even until the end of the age.”

Miracle #6 Yeshua ascends to heaven on the 40th day while the disciples watch in total awe!  Acts 1:9 After saying this, he was taken up before their eyes; and a cloud hid him from their sight. 10 As they were staring into the sky after him, suddenly they saw two men dressed in white standing next to them. 11 The men said, “You Galileans! Why are you standing, staring into space? This Yeshua, who has been taken away from you into heaven, will come back to you in just the same way as you saw him go into heaven.”

Miracle #7 –Holy Spirit falls at Pentecost (50th Day)
The Counting of the Omer concludes with the pinnacle of our living faith. As promised, on the 50th Day the Father sent the Holy Spirit to dwell with His followers.
Acts 2: The festival of Shavu‘ot arrived, and the believers all gathered together in one place. 2 Suddenly there came a sound from the sky like the roar of a violent wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 Then they saw what looked like tongues of fire, which separated and came to rest on each one of them. 4 They were all filled with the (Holy Spirit) Ruach HaKodesh and began to talk in different languages, as the Spirit enabled them to speak (CJB).
